Composed by: Tow on or about the 16th of Sarapin, 406 AF. Following Instructions are The Training Program to become a Cub Aide. They are subject to change at any time, depending on the current Head of Newcomers. These requirements are set up by the Head of Newcomers. If for some reason you would have a hard time getting these requirements, like no cubs asking when you are around, none to supervise or to observe contact the HoN and we can talk about alternative ways to learn. A/ For Graduates of the Cub Intern Program: 1. A message from the secretary of Interns, or from the head of cub interns confirming you have successfully completed your cub internship. 2. You conduct one complete introduction with a Cub Aide or EIA present. Please ask the Aide to also message the HoA that you have satisfactorily completed this assignment and to add some comments. 3. You must observe one Novice Interview conducted by a Cub Aide. We strongly recommend you observe as many interviews as possible. There are many excellent Cub Aides you can learn from. A good interviewer creates a psychological profile of the cub, leaving no stone unturned in their effort to determine if the cub has the heart of a Sentinel. 4. You must conduct one complete novice interview under the observation of a full Cub Aide. The Cub Aide will then message the HoN with an evaluation of your performance. If the Aide recommends additional interviews, you will be required to conduct another fully observed novice interview. 5. You must conduct a Sentinel Cub Test under the full observation of a Cub Aide. The Cub aide will then message the HoN with an evaluation of your performance. If the Aide recommends additional tests, you will be required to conduct a second fully observed Sentinel Cub Test. 6. You must be up-to-date on all Sentinel and Foxes news postings, be familiar with all current rules, cub-related files, and guild requirements. You may not be a Cub Aide while on probation in the guild. ---------------------------------------------------- B/ If you did not successfully complete your cub internship. then your path to Cub Aide is much more difficult. You will first need to apply as EIA (clhelp eiatrainees for details) and serve for at least 2 years as EIA and done at least 4 intros on your own giving you time to proof your dedication and to see for yourself if working with the cubs is what you really want to do. If you have proven to have taken on your share of introing cubs you can continue to train to become a full novice aide. You will then need a recommendation of the EIA manager or 2 full cub aides. Then you will be required to conduct 1 cub introduction under Cub Aide observation, observe 3 novice interviews, conduct 3 novice interviews under cub aide observation, observe 2 sentinel cub tests, and conduct 2 sentinel cub tests under cub aide observation. ---------------------------------------------------- Personal changes can be made but only in agreement with the HoN or EIA manager. If you have any questions, feel free to ask your current Head of Newcomers, often referred to as Cubmom.
